Die Casting
Lock Focus diecast facility
includes 7 automatic hot chamber, high pressure zinc die casting machines
which are computer-controlled.
A
few of these machines incorporate robotics to minimise secondary operations,
and this includes auto-tapping of components and automatic trimming. Recycling of the waste sprues and runner systems is a priority for us and
these are fed back into the machines, where possible, via conveyor systems.
Toolroom
Our toolroom consists of highly skilled toolmakers with vast experience in
die casting and press tooling. The need for very tight tooling tolerances is
achieved to ensure the best quality possible.
Safety and Control
To minimise the amount of floor space taken up by product, we have introduced
carousels to improve safety, storage and inventory control. These
carousels stretch from floor level to the roofline.
Assembly
Our assembly areas have very experienced operators who control and produce
the many styles of locking systems to meet customer demands. These systems
include basic camlocks to very intricate caravan door locking systems.
